Fund Raising

The National Fundraising Committee will be holding a Big Ticket Raffle as well as a Silent Auction. The proceeds from the fund raising help ESSFTA sponsor the National Specialty.

Silent Auction & Club Basket Auction

A silent auction will take place the week of the National Specialty. The silent auction will be conducted on a daily basis with the bidding for a group of items ending one day and new items being offered for bidding the following day.

Auction items will be on display at the Linn County Expo Center, near the Conformation ring. On Thursday and Friday bidding will be closed 20 minutes after judging and on Saturday all bidding will be closed just prior to the start of Best of Breed.

Silent Auction items must be claimed 20 minutes after the end judging everyday. Unclaimed Silent Auction items will be offered to the second highest bidder at that time.

The auction will feature club baskets donated by ESS Specialty Clubs nationwide. If your club has not been contacted and would like to participate please contact the committee chairs. The club/group basket bringing in the most money will have the opportunity to donate one-half of the price to either the rescue group of their choice or the ESSFTA Foundation.

In addition, items donated by individuals and vendors will also be included. The committee is gladly accepting donations of artwork, videos, books, training items, grooming items, clothing, handmade items, jewelry, etc for inclusion in the silent auction. The National Specialty committee encourages all attendees to bring with them an item for the Silent Auction.
